Ability Building Services nursing department promotes and supports each person’s health care needs. Nursing services assist people to be involved in their own health care, including choices about health care providers and the services they receive.
Our nursing staff takes a proactive approach to assist people to access preventative and ongoing health care resources. They evaluate the health care objectives and promote continuity of services and supports.
Nursing provides information about people’s health, medications and treatments, including the purpose, intended outcomes and alternatives. They also provide support staff the resources to assist people to self-administer medications with supports as necessary, which is assessed annually.
